Description of Therapies

Individual Therapy:
Face to face confidential office or in-home visits addressing in the moment issues related to depression, trauma, relationships, etc.

Family Therapy:
Help families understand and handle special family situations like death, mental illness or child and adolescent issues. Examine family patterns, interpersonal relationships and communication barriers that may interfere with the functioning of the family and home environment.

Group Therapy:
A safe and comfortable place where clients can work out their problems and emotional issues. Clients will gain insight into their own thoughts and behavior, offer suggestions and support to others.

Group Education:
Focus on educating clients on specific issues and ways of coping. Topics will include, but not be limited to co-dependency, relapse prevention, grief and loss, addictive behavior, spirituality /beliefs, anger management, etc.

Consultation Services:
Provide expert advice/and or services to individuals, families, businesses, schools, churches and community organizations on mental health/ wellness topics. Services include prevention and education advice, trainings, program development and how to use/access services.

Training and seminars will provide an interactive experiential learning opportunity and will be designed to meet a specific need. Continuing Education Units (CEU's) will be provided for mental health professionals.

Will focus on helping couples identify troublesome differences and repeating patterns of distress and how to better manage or reconcile the differences. Client's will be assisted with expanding and re-organizing key emotional responses in the relationship and understand the source of reactive emotions that drive the pattern.
